What is a Limited Edition?

Limited edition prints are produced in limited numbers; this scarcity of supply can make them sought after by buyers. Some prints are produced in editions of less than 50. A print is made of an original art work and an edition size is decided on by the artist or publisher. After the edition is sold out that particular print will not be published again

All Limited Edition prints on sale in this gallery are either signed by the artist or are Collectors' Editions. 

What is a Giclee Print?

A Giclee print is the highest quality print available today. The word Giclee is a French word meaning 'to squirt'. The process is digital printmaking with a printer that uses minute droplets of archival pigmented ink to create prints that cannot be duplicated by other printing techniques. Because there is no visible dot screen pattern the resulting image has all of the subtle tonalities of the original art. Each dot may have over 4 billion possible colours! This produces exceptional museum quality prints.

What is an Original Painting?

An Original is a one off work painted in either oils or Acrylic. The collection of original paintings offered by Arthouse Gallery is truly outstanding and ever changing. The Portfolio includes artists of international acclaim, many of whom have won prestigious awards, and many are members of highly respected art societies. Arthouse Gallery is dedicated to bring  you the customer Original Artwork of the highest standard and with exceptional presentation

Can I Pay Over The Telephone?

Of course you can. Just call us on  020 8529 4406 and we will take your order over the phone and let you know when to expect delivery. It's that easy

Can I Pay by Paypal?

Yes, you can. Just fill in the order form and click payment by Paypal

What if something is sold out. will I still be able to get it?

When a limited Edition says SOLD OUT that normally means that all of the edition has gone, but sometimes we are able to source one for you. It is always worth calling the gallery on 020 8529 4406.

If the work is an Original then that means there is only one and there will not be another. We can sometimes commission an artist to paint a similar piece if required

Delivery

Delivery is either by Royal mail or courier, we will always advise when the work is going to be delivered, or help you with preferred days or different  delivery addresses

Do You Deliver Worldwide

Yes, we do But we do not send art with Glass. so really it is canvas art or prints that can be flat packed.we will always give you the delivery price that it is and not a penny more.

Arthouse Gallery opened in 2004 and is an independent gallery,  which means that we are not tied to any large publishing houses and we keep our individuality and can buy and show art that we think the general discerning art lover wants, not being led by the nose and trying to keep up with the Jones'

We also have very tight relationships with our artists which means we know a lot about them and we pick and choose the very best just for you. All of our artists are at the top of their profession

Arthouse Gallery is set 500 meters from Epping Forest and Queen Elizabeth I hunting lodge (which is open to the public and quite fascinating) Lots of Cafes and restaurants and we are right opposite Chingford Station so we are very easy to get to

We have a strong presence on the Internet and now have customers the length and breadth of the UK, Europe and far flung places that we cannot pronounce!!!!
