What is a Limited Edition?

Limited edition prints are produced in limited numbers; this scarcity of supply can make them sought after by buyers. Some prints are produced in editions of less than 50. A print is made of original artwork and edition size is decided on by the artist or publisher. After the edition is sold out that particular print will not be published again

All Limited Edition prints on sale in this gallery are always signed by the artist and have a certificate of Authenticity on the back of the artwork

Owning a Limited Edition Signed Print means your part of an exclusive base who's will only own that print unless it gets sold out.

Limited edition prints exist in a specific quantity determined in advance by the artist.

Well, owning a limited edition print will certainly set you apart from other art collectors, you know. Its rarity can add value and shine a light on the distinct elements of your collection.

No number on any print is worth more than another hence the entire collection will all be priced at the same price from numbers 1-100 or more

If you are to purchase a limited edition print, it should have:

• Numbered prints: Usually, it will have a number to show its version, like 1/10-10/10.
• Artist Proof: The number of impressions made by the artist, for example, 2/3. 
• Printers Proof: A prototype of the print before it's been printed. 

If you're looking to purchase a limited edition to add value to your collection, then you will undoubtedly want to make sure it's signed. A print that the artist sign will add value.

The majority of the time, a signature is kept in the bottom right corner, which adds to the authenticity 

What is a Giclee Print?

A Giclee print is the highest quality print available today. The word Giclee is a French word meaning 'to squirt'. The process is digital printmaking with a printer that uses minute droplets of archival pigmented ink to create prints that cannot be duplicated by other printing techniques. Because there is no visible dot screen pattern the resulting image has all of the subtle tonalities of the original art. Each dot may have over 4 billion possible colours! This produces exceptional museum-quality prints.

What is Original Painting?

An Original is a one-off work painted in either oils or Acrylic. The collection of original paintings offered by Arthouse Gallery is truly outstanding and ever-changing. Can I Pay by Paypal?

Yes you can. Just fill in the order form and click payment by Paypal

What if something is sold out. will I still be able to get it?

When a limited Edition says SOLD OUT that normally means that all of the editions has gone, but sometimes we are able to source one for you. It is always worth calling the gallery on 01992 568378

If the work is an Original then that means there is only one and there will not be another. We can sometimes commission an artist to paint a similar piece if required

Delivery

Delivery is either by Royal mail or courier, we will always advise when the work is going to be delivered, or help you with preferred days or different  delivery addresses

Do You Deliver Worldwide

Yes, we do But we do not send art with Glass. we will always use Art Sheild which is unbreakable safer and lighter for sending.we will always give you the delivery price that it is and not a penny more.

WE DO NOT  store any financial details of our customers and do not share any personal details with third parties

Arthouse Gallery opened in 2004 and is an independent gallery,  which means that we are not tied into any large publishing houses and we keep our individuality and can buy and show art that we think the general discerning art lover wants, not being led by the nose and trying to keep up with the Jones'

We also have very tight relationships with our artists which means we know a lot about them and we pick and choose the very best just for you. All of our artists are at the top of their profession

Arthouse Gallery is set 500 meters from Epping Forest and Queen Elizabeth I hunting lodge (which is open to the public and quite fascinating) Lots of Cafes and restaurants and we are right opposite Chingford Station so we are very easy to get to

We have a strong presence on the Internet and now have customers the length and breadth of the UK, Europe and far-flung places that we cannot pronounce!!!!

Returns

Everything sold by Arthouse Gallery has been carefully checked. Sometimes, however, items are damaged, defective or are unacceptable in some other way and we will make every effort to rectify that situation. This does not affect your statutory rights in any way When you order from our website store, you can rest assured that we will ensure that you are fully satisfied with your purchase.

(35) When you receive your goods, please take the time to inspect your goods immediately, as claims with regards to damaged items cannot be made after the courier has left the delivery address: unless signed “Damaged on Delivery”. Any damage must be notified to Arthouse Gallery as soon as possible after receipt of your order. Arthouse Gallery will then arrange for collection and replacement if one can be obtained. If this is not possible, you have the option of choosing an alternative piece.

(36) Goods that are unacceptable for any other reason may be returned to us but you must contact us first for authorisation within 7 days of receipt. If you do not let us know within that time scale then Arthouse Gallery Accept no responsibility for any refunds

Goods returned which are not defective or faulty will be subject to a 10% re-stocking charge is deducted from the refund to cover the loss of packaging materials, and the time taken to re-stock. We hope you agree that this is fair.

All returned goods by you, the purchaser, will be liable for courier, postage, and insurance for goods paid for by you the purchaser returned to Arthouse Gallery.

(37) Returning your item to us, please contact us for the appropriate returns delivery address and procedure. You are responsible for returning the goods to us. You must take reasonable care of the goods. We ask that items are wrapped securely & safely for transit, in the original packaging. We advise that all returned items are sent by courier, recorded, and insured post, (We can arrange collection UK mainland if necessary) as we are not responsible for un-received goods, nor are we responsible for claiming damages from a courier if goods are damaged in transit on their way back to us. You should always contact us if you are unsure of the returns process. We will notify you via e-mail when we have processed your return & refund and this can take up to 3 weeks.

(38) Commissioned pieces that have been specifically ordered for you will not be accepted for return unless faulty or damaged in transit.

 SAVE IN RESPECT OF ANY SHORTAGES OR DEFECTS IF YOU, THE PURCHASER, FAIL TO COMPLY WITH THIS CLAUSE WE WILL NOT BE HELD LEGALLY LIABLE IN RESPECT OF ANY OTHER COMPLAINT WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN BROUGHT TO OUR ATTENTION WITHIN THIS PERIOD.
