What Is A Gicléé print?

Giclée printing is a process that uses fade-resistant, archival inks and archival substrates to print on large format printers. Giclée printing is often used by artists to make reproductions of their original two-dimensional artwork, photographs, or computer-generated art for resale while preserving the original.

How do artists number and sign their prints?

the traditional way is to sign and number prints at the bottom of the image on the original paper, in pencil. A pencil mark cannot be reproduced by computers, making it less vulnerable to fraud. The signature will be on the lower right and the numbering on the left.
