Kimberley Harris

Surrounded by the countryside in Suffolk, where she lives, gives Kimberley her endless inspiration but it all started at a young age when her father, who had a keen interest in impressionist art, took her to a JMW Turner exhibition showing at the Tate Gallery. She thought him to be a genius and claimed she was going to paint just like him one day. So in 2005 Kimberley went on to get her Diploma in Art and Design. Her work is instantly recognizable for the emphasis on colour and light which is created using a palette knife and a method of layering and blending to create the perfect tone and texture. Her signature landscapes focus on the natural beauty of the countryside, portraying how colour and light affect one another at different times of the day.
