Anna is originally from Devon and Lesley is from London. They met each other at the school gates back in the day when we could actually tell our kids what to do….and occasionally they listened!
We are fortunate enough to live on the very beautiful North Devon coastline. When the kids were younger we became regular beach combers and couldn’t believe the quantity and colours of the sea glass we were finding. So, what to do with it? Well, we could have just chucked it back in the sea but both being of a creative disposition we decided we had to do something with it. Plus it was free which was a bonus!!
Anyway, to cut a very long story a little bit shorter, our creative side line has developed into a full time living for both of us. Over the last few years, we have been fortunate enough to have shown our work in the Skull Appreciation Society exhibition titled ‘Celebrabis Vitae’ in Shoreditch and the ‘Icons in the Frame’ exhibition in Mayfair and Earls Court. Also, we had a feature filmed about our work on the BBC Spotlight local news programme and are currently selling work from Cornwall to London all made from glass collected from the sea and turned into delicious one off artworks!
