Sylvia Farrow Wildlife Artist

Sylvia studied ceramics at Camberwell College but has always painted and drawn in watercolour. Initially painting landscapes inspired by trips to France and Italy then dabbling into Still Life using everyday objects with fruit and flowers.Gradually Sylvia extended her repertoire to wildlife animals, but now combines her love of watercolour and birds as the fluid nature of watercolour lends itself perfectly to these little creatures that never keep still.

There are so many wonderful birds in the garden and to help with her studies Sylvia takes many photographs and also spend hours studying their antics.Sylvia has exhibited in France, Italy and the UK and has many sold so many paintings that she tells me she has now lost count.

Arthouse is very happy to be showcasing her work.
