Illustrator and comic book artist Simone Lia has spent the summer drawing worms, “This summer for me has been all about worms, not just because of the rainy weather and frequent sightings of the humble wiggler but they have become my artistic muse.” She likes how worms are “literally down to earth”. ‘I’ve Got No Brain’ celebrates the counter cultural qualities of the humble worm. The simple, modest creature with soft skin is busy doing lots of good down in the soil and Simone Lia thinks “maybe we need to be more like the humble worm to oppose a culture that celebrates and endorses celebrity, egotism and power.” This joyful print is quirky, sweet and highly collectable.
