Jonathan Truss

Jonathan had an early fascination for wildlife and whilst starting his career as a professional musician and actor he later moved to art through his natural love of oil painting.

Every year his thirst for material involves trips to the wilds of Northern Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, and Kenya. His paintings now hang in galleries & private collections all over the world, from New Zealand to India, from Botswana to Beverley Hills! Demand for his limited edition prints has grown to such an extent that he has had sell-outs on publication in the U.K. Also published with fine art prints by the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation. Jonathan demonstrates his painting techniques and talks about Conservation at numerous schools and art groups. He has been featured in many magazines, featured in the US Wildlife Art mag. Jonathan has run art safaris in Governor's camp in the Masai Mara annually for the last 9 years. He was also joined by BBC`s Big Cat Diary`s Jonathan Scott and world-renowned artist David Shepherd in India and Africa. JT ran special wildlife painting/sketching workshop safaris there as he has in the Galapagos Islands, India, Canada, and Madagascar. 2013 Galapagos and Kenya
