Born to a mining family in 1948 Allen was one of eight children and grew up in the industrial landscapes that he paints and shows us today. We can learn a lot through Allen's paintings about the community and life of these close knit mining towns.
Working with oil paints and watercolours Allen's paintings give us an almost historical glimpse into a snapshot of time in that place at that time. The world full of mum's, dad's, children, dogs, cats, cars and lots and lots of shops and factories... Nostalgia at its very best.
We are very happy to be selling Allen's work.
Please call us for more information on Allen's original paintings as new work is arriving all the time.
